What Do You Think About the Best Actress?

Marion Cotillard won the Best Actress Oscar for her portrayal of Edith Piaf in La Vie en Rose. Her fellow nominees included Cate Blanchett, Julie Christie, Laura Linney and Ellen Page, and her speech was absolutely adorable ("You rocked my life!"). How do you feel about this win?

I haven't seen this movie yet, but after hearing so much about her performance I definitely want to see it. She was so cute in her acceptance speech - she was completely surprised!

Marion was amazing in that movie and I'm so glad to see her win. She blew the others away by far, in my opinion. I think almost everybody that has seen that movie knows that she deserved it.

She was amazing. I watched this movie on an overseas flight, three times. The lady next to me thought i was crazy sitting there crying and watching the same movie over and over! I love the song about having no regrets.

i think the award is well deserved. if kiera wasn't nominated (as she should have been) then she was certainly the next best winner. congrats!

Being French myself, I'm very happy and proud that Marion won. She's a great actress, she didn't play Edith Piaf, she WAS her in that movie. She deserved the award!!!

I thought if they weren't going to award Julie Christie, they would have given it to Ellen page, guess i was wrong . I guess the Oscar voters still love autobiographical movies/characters.

The best. I was afraid she will not win because only Sofia Loren had one for best actress category in a non-english speaking movie. But Marion won it. I would have never watch again if not. Olivier rocked her world and she rocked mine when I met her. BRAVO MARION!
