What Did You Think of This Week's "Friday Night Lights"?

On Wednesday's episode of "Friday Night Lights," the Street family pushes ahead with their lawsuit against Coach Taylor, which divides the town and leaves Jason feeling conflicted. Matt's dad tries to adjust to life away from the war, but he keeps making things even harder for Matt in the process. And we pay a visit over to Tyra-land, where Tyra confronts her mother about her abusive boyfriend.

I was pretty bummed that there weren't more scenes with Tim (Taylor Kitsch). That man makes me want to drop my life and become a stalker. JK. He is so hot! The show was really great, otherwise. My husband is out of town, so I could swoon in the open over Tim!

This is absolutely one of the best shows on television! All of the characters are so complex and I think one of the trademarks of a good television show is that you really care about the characters--I have a crush on Matt, absolutely adore Julie and Coach and Mrs. Taylor and anguished for Tyra. I went to school in Austin at UT and love figuring out where they are filming--the diner they always goes to is EZ's and they seriously have the best milkshakes in the world (put that on yumsugar!). I hope the ratings pick up and this series is around for a while!

Still think this is one of the best shows going right now! Matt is an amazing character; he has so much on his plate as he tries to balance home, school, football, friendships--and relationships with Julie, grandma and his dad. One of my favorite moments came when Matt acknowledges that his dad is not a good car salesman but that he is a great soldier and urges him to reconsider his plans to quit the army. We got a lot of insight into Tyra and into why she is so desperate to get out of Texas and into Jason who is being pulled by his love for his parents and his loyalty to Coach Taylor. All around, another great episode! And, a real bonus: the Dillion Panthers are going to the playoffs.
