I really like a lot of these, but The Wire was an amazing show and I'll really miss it.

This was the hardest one so far! Dexter got my vote, but I love Mad Men, True Blood, Damages, and The Closer.

True Blood all the way. Bill is the sexiest Vampire since Lestat IMO. Absolutely cannot WAIT for next season. Bring on the undead sexual deviants! lol

Mad Men, then The Closer, but Amazing Grace was pretty good too. Damages will be back in January. Wonder if it can top the first season though.

True Blood! Bridget, isn't it possible that some people don't watch these shows because they don't have cable? Yeah thats why. I have FX, but I don't have HBO or Showtime so I can't see most of these (I watch True Blood online).

Had to show love for THe Wire on this one. It is, hands-down, the most important piece of television ever. There are plenty of good options up there though (TB, BB, MM,Dex)!!! And if you don't watch ANY of the shows presented as options in the poll (and are in any capacity a watcher of television), its pretty safe to say you have sh**y taste in TV. Sorry. Michelin: Lost and Heroes are considered "network" shows, not cable shows. Hopefully there is/ will be another poll for those. LOST has my vote there, fo sho!

how did i know that a lot of people were going to vote for mad men? see i tried getting into the show this year and it just didn't work for me. i'm going to jump on the vampire bandwagon though - and i had to say that trueblood was mine
