Watch, Pass, TiVo or Rent: Max Payne

Time to weigh in on one of this weekend's new releases, the darkly stylized Max Payne. Based on a video game, the story follows our hero Max Payne as he tries to hunt down the people who killed his wife and child, but every step he takes towards solving their murders only brings up more questions and lead him into a sinister world.

Are you familiar with the video game? Will Marky Mark make you want to go (or make you want to avoid going)? Is this an in-theater flick, a rental, a pass or something you'll lazily watch when it eventually airs on TV?

I've been wanting to see this ever since I saw a commercial for it. Looks like an intense action movie, plus Mark Wahlberg. So it really can't get much better!!

Rent. I love Mark and Mila, but there are other films I'd rather see that are out around now.

as much as i love and adore mark and mila - i can't bring myself to go see it. i thought that i was going to be able to do it, but if it's my choice then i won't be at the theater seeing this one.
