To use the parlance of our (judges) times, Erin's performance was pitchy. I'm sorry! It just was. Yes, it had some strong moments, but she didn't seem to be in the right key during the whole song. She looked superemotional afterwards, likely because of her personal ties to that song, which is probably why the judges went light on her. Christina said it was original and everyone agreed Erin is talented, but nobody said her rendition was outstanding.

Will her shaky but emotional performance be enough to keep her in?
