Song: "Set Fire to the Rain"

Because we all know this show would implode without a healthy dose of Adele, Erin Willett was tasked with "Set Fire to the Rain" this week. She's a singer that I wasn't too keen on from the start, but this week I think the song actually showcased her voice really well. I also applaud The Voice's insistence on keeping this show literal by shooting fireballs in the background. Cee Lo thought she did the song justice and though Adam liked it, he thought the phrasing was off.

Was Erin's rendition of Adele good enough to keep her around?

No surprise, personally, that Jordis ended up cut last night - I remember her being on another music compeition show and she was cut at this same type of level then so no surprise now. Christina's choice was a huge surprise to me when she seemed more inclinded toward Lindsay based on her performance this week I'm secretly glad that she hasn't been removed yet though ;) Personally, I hate how the fans were basically phased out last night - what's the fun of watching these type of shows when you're choice is removed? It just keeps turning me back to online voice contests like MakeAStar where at least your vote counts. I should say with MakeAStar its all the counts since the voting/winners on the site are totally fan decided and its a much more interactive experience.
