Song: "A Little Bit Stronger"

After Christina took up the majority of the decision time, Blake cut Jordis almost instantly, and it was brutal. In addition to a new look, she had debuted a different type of song this week. It was a little bit softer, but was it really a little bit stronger? (Apparently not.) It was pretty, but I didn't feel like she ever reached the vocal heights she could have. The judges liked it and they commended her vulnerability, but to be honest, nobody was really raving about it, so it didn't come as a shock that she was eliminated.

Was she the weakest contestant of the lot?

No surprise, personally, that Jordis ended up cut last night - I remember her being on another music compeition show and she was cut at this same type of level then so no surprise now. Christina's choice was a huge surprise to me when she seemed more inclinded toward Lindsay based on her performance this week I'm secretly glad that she hasn't been removed yet though ;) Personally, I hate how the fans were basically phased out last night - what's the fun of watching these type of shows when you're choice is removed? It just keeps turning me back to online voice contests like MakeAStar where at least your vote counts. I should say with MakeAStar its all the counts since the voting/winners on the site are totally fan decided and its a much more interactive experience.
