Video Trailer of Splice, Starring Adrien Brody and Sarah Polley

In perhaps the most convincing anti-cloning argument I've ever seen, Warner Brothers has just released the trailer for Splice, a horror film which had its debut at Sundance this year. Adrien Brody and Sarah Polley star as two geneticists who toy with DNA and scientifically birth what can only be described as part Coneheads baby, part Gollum. I'm talking major heebie-jeebie factor, people. The little creature goes on to terrorize its makers, of course, growing at a rapid rate until it's full human size — and wearing a lovely LBD?

Okay, with the exception of that one odd detail, this film actually does look pretty terrifying. So much that I may just have to sit it out when it comes to theaters June 4. Check out the trailer, and tell me if you agree when you read more.
