Should I just classify this under "so bad it's awesome"? The trailer for the live-action version of Marmaduke truly has to be seen to be believed. First, you have Owen Wilson voicing the mischievous cartoon dog, which is trippy in itself (a giant Great Dane sounding like a stoner = surreal). George Lopez provides the voice of his best friend the cat, Fergie plays a love interest, while Lee Pace and Judy Greer run around as his frazzled owners.

But the real magic happens in the last 10 seconds of this preview — dance sequence! You know, because the sight of Marmaduke hanging 10 on a surfboard isn't already enough to make your eyes bug. I'm sure children are going to go ape over this flick, but I wouldn't be surprised if a few adults get laughs out of it, just because it's so ridiculous.
