I agree with the last comment. Very disappointed in the movie. The book was really good. Movie not so much.
Charlie St. Cloud was the worst movie of the year!!! It was plain, didn't deliver the drama and romance found on the trailers, Zac might be hot but his plain acting totally destroy the HM performance. I read the book, and it just doesn't do justice to it. I was so upset I requested a refund. If you read the book you can see the difference, a classic case of a good book turned into an awefull movie, not just by the fact that 3000 details are missing and that the movie is close to 2 hrs long but the fact fact of lack of dialogue and bad acting. I personally think that this is a movie made for kids and just turned teens not for anyone else. The film has great outdoor shots but its brightness gets dimmed by the movie itself. Its also a waste of great actors, Ray Liota, Kim Bassinger and Zac Efron all a waste. It could of been better. I recommend everyone to read the book. It will really explain more than watching the movie.

I was surprised I liked Charlie St. Cloud as much as I did. I read all the bad reviews and didn't have very high expectations - but Zac is hot in it so he pulls it off.
