im worried of kristen's coughing. i think it is a smokers cough. i hope that she realized this coz it is not good for her health. however, she was stunningly fierce in that gown. love her.

taylor looked very cunning, kristen looked alright. She could put herself into something elegant but she is not an elegant lady.

I'm with Santi, I think it was nerves. I really like her dress but she did look uncomfortable wearing it.

I didn't find her awkwardness endearing. I feel like she's the annoying person in speech class who made a huge fuss about public speaking: "omg! I'm sooooo nervous!" when you just need to take a few breaths and get over yourself.

She looked gorgeous. But she has zero stage presence. For an actress, it's really surprising that she can't get over herself a bit more than that. I hope she never does live theatre.

this proves to me that both are talentless, have no style or stage presence, are awkward and mumble and she cannot for the life of me stand up straight and act like a lady. go away little ones leave the acting to the big people.

Ok Caterpillar girl totally agree that Twilight wasnt a horror movie so that is kind of funny.

I like Kristen and dont mind her "attitude", mainly because it's a lot like mine was when I was her age, but I do wish she had tried harder to supress that cough, whatever may have motivated it, she only had to get a few more words out.

I do however love her in that dress with the minimal accesories and she far exceeded my expectations of her tonight.

i think my expectations were so low of kristen, that i was pleasantly surprised by her dress and hair. i didn't really expect anything from her little speech. and i was right..it was nothing special!

As an actress, she needs to get used to public speaking. At the very least, take a shot of Jack Daniels or something before going on stage. Sheesh.

i loved seeing them and it was one of the highlights of my night. it will never cease to amaze me how nervous KS gets even though she does these things all the time. it's kind of cute but i wish that she would get more confidence. everyone LOVES her.

and for those who say 'smokers cough' - it was a nervous cough - couldn't you see her tapping her foot and all that? it's what happens when you're as nervous as she was.

I was actually pleasantly surprised with the way she was styled. Her dress and hair looked great. However, her posture and awkwardness bugged me.

And I agree-Twilight is not a horror film.

Oh, and, to me, Taylor is just kind of there. If I was 14, I would probably think he was good-looking, but, for me, he's just kind of vanilla. Still better than Rob, though.

I always criticize Kristen. But, last night I agree with her crazy fans (the one's that stay high on Kristen cool-aid). Anyway, I agree with others my expectations were so low for Kristen I actually welled up with pride for her. I think she look great last night. (This is big for me to give Kristen a compliment) I still say she can't act her way out of a paper bag. But, made her fans proud last night. I even think she was less awkward then usual. I do LOVE the friendship she and Taylor have. I'm glad they were there to support each other.

Unfortunately, I'm afraid if Rob was there the funky, awkward, poorly dressed, unclean Kristen would have reared her greasy head once again. They just are better apart then together.

Kristen tries too hard looking " awkward" and "uncomfortable". She cannot act obviously. I have no sympathy for fakers and shallow like her 19 yr old self.

Stewart's cough was funnier than the opening monologue by the hosts (terrible writing). However, Lautner (super cute) has the personality of a tree.

I was excited to see her and she looked stunning, but what made me disappointed was that she acted like she didn't respect the ceremony at all. her public speaking was obviously not good first of all, and her cough should wait for two more seconds to let herself finish the line. maybe a smile could cover all that, but her arrogance shown instead... you could see Taylor was embarrased for her...

She was either nervous or she needs to stop smoking. Either way she's always Kristen.

Hey Fellow Anonymous (one who gave Kristen a compliment but usually doesn't) I agree with you. Taylor brings out the best in Kristen. She always seems to act a weird, dark, moody way when Rob is around. Like she has to prove her edginess and refusal to crack a smile. Taylor makes her smile a lot and for some reason, she shines around him. I feel she is just too morbid around Rob. My opinion. Robsten don't kill me, but I'm TaySten - sorry

TAYLOR IS SUCH A STRONG SUPPORT SYSTEM FOR KRISTEN. THEY NEED TO BE AROUND EACH OTHER MORE.

Kristen looked absolutely stunning. I think it's funny how people will critique every thing she does to the tiniest degree. It was just a cough! People cough, it is normal. So what if she gets nervous there is nothing wrong with that. I'm glad she is awkward because it shows how real she is. Personally I find her to be a breath of fresh air.

She is landing roles that must go to decent actresses. She can single handedly ruin a movie with her mopey one act pony. Bite lip, look scared, speak in monotone, rinse and repeat. She can have all the fans she wants, more power to her. But she drags down every thing she is in.
