Gwyneth Paltrow continued her streak of successful award season performances with this evening's Oscars! She took to the stage to perform "Coming Home" from Country Strong sporting a nude Michael Kors gown after hitting the red carpet in a shimmery Calvin Klein. When she was singing on Glee her voice was EXTREMELY processed and all of the pitches were tidily repaired. Learn to hear when a voice has been through the artificial tuning machine, then you know who can REALLY sing. And BTW, experienced singers have voices that sound the same even when they have nerves, because they sing with nerves for years and your voice gets used to it. Barbra Streisand gets horrendous nerves, her voice is still dead on, as it is with any other pro singer WHO PAID THEIR DUES and practiced for years, instead of riding on the coattails of a previous successful career. Gwyneth doesn't even look like she's enjoying herself, she looks tortured. In her Grammy performance she looks like a deer in the headlights. Painful to watch.
That was indeed painful to watch. Defintely nerves at play. The movie was good. I recommend you listen to the soundtrack before you pronounce she cannot sing.
Gwenyth Paltrow is simply an awful singer and her label needs to give up on her. Having her perform on every award show will never make her a better singer, so please stop forcing her on us. We don't want to listen to her sing anymore!

The problem is NOT Gwyneth..........it's the song. The song is BAD ! ! ! I saw Gwyneth on "Glee" singing "Forget You"....and she sounded great ! ! ! In fact, I saw her do "Forget You" on the Golden Globes and she sounded good on there, too. And I saw her on the CMA's singing "Country Strong"......she sounded great on that, too ! ! !

GOOPY GWENNY ~ PLEASE............ Stop singing! You can't sing and never could. And to think she actually said on the red carpet that she really wanted to team up with Jay Z and cut a single! REALLY??? She has lost her mind!

It was painful to watch, she was clearly very nervous and knew she did badly.
I know what happened,she was nervous. I saw the movie and i liked it and she did so much better in the movie. she really sang it really good in the movie. too bad the movie bombed,cause I liked it,I saw it twice. nobody thinks she is now a singer just because of the movie. we know better,the movie writer thought she would do good,because of cruisin. things happen.
I swear that I saw her mouth the f-word as she brought the microphone down at the end of that song- not good at all.

Mediocre at best. Really, what was Gwynnie doing SINGING at the OSCARS? As a friend of mine said on FB, she'd be kicked off American Idol - first round. LOL

She was really out of tune. By the look on her face in the end, she realized she did bad.
The movie did awful and now I see why..I'm sorry she sounded terrible..Gweneth Paltrow can NOT sing..how is this Oscar worthy.
