One of my favorite new shows last year was The Vampire Diaries, the sexy CW drama that capitalized on the vampire craze at just the right time. Like fellow bloodsucker phenomenons True Blood and Twilight, Diaries started out as a book series before it made the leap to the screen. Today we have a look at the latest tome, Stefan's Diaries #1: Origins, a prequel about its hero's Civil War upbringing and battles with brother Damon.
Now that the show is a hit, I imagine that the book series has seen a boost in sales. And of course, there are the folks who had already read the series and are now watching L.J. Smith's creations come to life (or death, as it were) on screen. So I'm curious — how many of you have read The Vampire Diaries books?
