Is Up Now the Best Pixar Movie?

Before Wall-E hit theaters last year I asked you what your favorite Pixar movie was, and at that time there were eight to choose from (and Finding Nemo won!). Now with Wall-E having won all kinds of awards and Up being such a smash hit with audiences of all ages, I wonder if you'd change your vote.

What do you think? Is Up the best movie Pixar's done so far? Or do you still have a different favorite?

Monsters, Inc is my all-time favourite with Ratatouille a close second. The Toy Story trilogy is remarkable in that I would rate the third the best and the brilliant first the least good of the three. I loved the technical brilliance of Wall-E but felt it lacked something intangible and felt that Pixar was trying to make "art" at the expense of an endearing story. Also, the moral of the tale was rammed down watchers' throats as never before in previous stories espousing, dare I say, human qualities. I enjoyed Up too but again, felt it lacked something. Bug's Life would be way down the list and Cars just below Wall-E and Up. Certainly though, Pixar has produced so much outstanding quality that even the least brilliant movie trounces the efforts of those from other inferior studios.

I saw up last weekend and for my opinion is the best ever, my son like it very much and is 6 years old..

Nemo and Monsters Inc. are the best. Nemo has the most heart warming story and Monster Inc. the most creative plot.

Seeing Up this weekend, hopefully so I can better judge! But right now, Finding Nemo is still my favorite. The theme of a father letting his kid go and make decisions for himself...let's just say the movie's release was very timely for my family (I was finishing college at the time).

I haven't seen Up yet but I doubt it will top Finding Nemo (which is still the best in my opinion) and the super cute Wall-E.

I loved Up. I loved that it had a little of everything. And I don't think it showed that like was a "butt f**k", on the contrary I think it made a point to show what a great life he had with Ellie. It was nice to see a "kids" movie with some actual hurt and hard times. Kids aren't stupid, we don't give them enough credit for understanding things. I thought it was awesome.On the other note, I LOVE Nemo! It's one of my faves along with Wall-E
