True Blood and Grey's Anatomy are two of our favorite TV shows that surprisingly did not get a ton of Emmy love when nominations came out today.
The Emmys are approaching fast, and the nominees will be announced at the crack of dawn this Thursday. I'm already setting my alarm clock in anticipation, but in the meantime, I've been brainstorming the actors and shows that I'd like to see make the cut for the first time. So, to the Academy of Arts and Sciences, may I submit the following for your consideration.
We don't cover much men's style here on Fab, but I've been following Ugly Betty actor Mark Indelicato ever since I first saw him step onto the red carpet in an ensemble that was too fashionable for words. A one hit wonder? So not! Mark continues to give us stylish hits. And his tunes are getting more impressive. There's no doubt about it: This 16-year-old's fashion sense is wise beyond his years. Step inside to meet the young sophisticate.

Hey ladies and gents! I had the awesome privilege to tour the set of Ugly Betty a few months ago and have been obsessing over some of the things I saw, in particular a very Super Mario-esque toadstool in Betty's apartment, as seen here:
As a geeky girl, I love what I interpret as a subtle nod to video games and since I've recently re-done a room in my apartment with layers of varying greens and neutral browns I would love this unexpected pop of red color. I've been looking on Etsy and have come up unsuccessful and the girl who gave the tour wasn't sure where it came from (though she did note the set design department shopped a lot at Ikea, CB2, west elm, etc.). I did sit on it and it was quite comfy though frankly I'd use it as a footstool more than likely (or a decorative touch). If anyone could help me I'd be over the moon!

The Spring month of April brought with it plenty of new music, TV, and movies to digest and enjoy. While some entertainment offerings were blooming with inspiration, others wilted in the public eye. Let's look back at April and chat about the best and worst in pop culture this month!

Last night, we sadly said goodbye to Ugly Betty and the wacky friends, family, and coworkers in her world. A lot has changed for Betty in four seasons (as evidenced when we got a quick flash of Betty's former self with her choppy bangs and orange poncho), and this week she embarks on a brand-new adventure in London. The series finale doesn't have any epic twists, but it still manages to tug on the heartstrings while squeezing in a few last-minute laughs. Here's why I loved it:
