Will You Miss Tyra's Talk Show?

Oprah Winfrey's not the only one leaving daytime television in the dust — Tyra Banks has announced that her talk show will end its run in Spring 2010. She said, "I’ve been loving having fun, coming into your living rooms, bedrooms, hair salons for the past 5 years." Tyra will be focusing her energy on Bankable Studios, her film production company.

While Tyra's empire pales in comparision to Oprah's, she still had some memorable moments (remember when she posed as a homeless person?) and won two Daytime Emmys. So here's my question: will you miss Tyra's talk show?

I can't stand her... But I do love when Joel McHale makes fun of her on The Soup... lol. There should be an option for "Won't miss the show and I'm not interested in any of her other shows." I just can't stand her.. I have nothing against ANTM and I'd watch it if it weren't for her... I don't want my TV watching to increase her ratings in any way shape or form.

I liked some of her shows but many were just over the top.I'm going to miss the show.She did some good ones.

Tyra Banks loves to talk TOO much about herself. When someone is talking about their terrible situation, Tyra always tries to put herself into the problem, like she's already been there and done that before them...knowing good and well she doesn't know about their hard times. Tyra has most likely NOT experienced what they've been through before. And whenever I tuned in I always caught Tyra talking about how good she looks too. I mean come on. Give someone else a compliment and stop pushing how great YOU are over them. I usually would turn the channel before 15 minutes had gone by.

Oh and I hope she does not think we are stupid enough to believe this has nothing to do with Oprah leaving. It is just too much of a coincidence that two of the biggest names on daytime television are deciding to end their shows.

Honestly, yes I will miss her show. Sure, Tyra is conceited and somehow managed to always talk about herself and her experiences when she interviewed guest but still her show was entertaining. I am not sure what I am going to watch next year at 4:00 pm. First Oprah and now Tyra.

not really to be honest, i never really watched her show - i've checked it out a few times late night but i'm not really the talk show type so it's not like i'm going to have to fill a void.
