I am a huge Hans Zimmer fan and his work on Inception was indelible. However, what Reznor and Ross were able to do with just a couple of subtle notes was not only breathtaking, but laid the most perfect ominous tone without which the movie could have succeeded. Half of The Social Network's beauty is in that score. This award was spot-on...

It was an insult to present so memorable scores before they announce the winner: An totally irrelevant and UNMEMORABLE SCORE!!! BEST ORIGINAL SCORE IS HTTYD!!!
