All of the build-up to the Oscars next week has me thinking about movie music — namely, those well-executed soundtracks that have managed to become favorites of my CD collection. Sometimes, these collections perfectly capture the mood of a movie — as was the case with the cutting-edge Trainspotting soundtrack. Other times, they are just great compilations that can outshine even mediocre movies. (The 1996 Romeo and Juliet soundtrack come to mind.)
So for this week's Buzzworthy challenge, I want you guys to tell me about your favorite movie soundtracks, be they original scores or compilations.
