Tori Spelling: Love Her or Leave Her?

The actress formerly known as Donna Martin was a star of one of the hit shows of the '90s, but Tori Spelling is still a household name thanks to her Oxygen series with husband Dean and their two kids. Tonight Tori and Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood kicks off a fifth season, once again letting us into the lives of the family. This time, however, it looks like the stress of fame is really getting to the couple, as Tori and Dean have a tear-filled talk about their troubles (complete with melodramatic background music). Watching this, I can't help but think there's something kind of likable and relatable to Tori. Heck, even I'm a little angry at Dean for nearly getting himself killed! Where do you stand?

Love Tori! I couldn't stand her in the past, thought she was a rich brat growing up. But I'm ashamed to say I never took the time to learn more about her. Caught her Tori and Dean in Love show, and was hooked after that. I love how down to earth they are, and they have beautiful kids. I get mad reading negative things about her and Dean because many of those people are like I was- they didn't take the time to get to know a bit about them. I think the world would be a better place if we were all a little more down to earth and less judgmental. I love what advocates they are for the gay community- such big hearts. Now we need a guncles show!

Are they trying to 'Heidi and Spencer' them a la "The Hills"? Meaning make it look like Dean and Tori's marriage is awful and falling apart for the cameras when in fact it's fine? I sure hope not. I really like Tori. I don't watch her show but I read one of her books and it was hilarious. Is that one of her gays (hairstylist, make up artist, BFF) that is constantly talking smack about Dean? What a Debbie Downer!

I never really watched 90210 but I always watch their show and I really like her! Her kids are adorable, she's a really good mom, and she works hard. I think she is definitely relatable.

I like her. I never watched 90210 when it ran, caught a few epis on rerun, so all I know of Tori is her post 90210 work, and she does seem to be really likable.

I personally don't understand why some people seem to really dislike her. I've personally always liked her.
