It's still Summer, but with a few choice trailers, it feels like we're already getting a taste for what awards season will look like. Case in point: the trailer for Cold War-set Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy, which looks seriously fantastic. In the adaptation of the 1979 novel, Gary Oldman stars as principal character George Smiley, a detective who has come out of retirement to sniff out a Russian agent working as a spy within the British Secret Intelligence Service.
From the tense preview, we have a few prime suspects for the mole, including Colin Firth, Tom Hardy (rocking a glorious '70s mane), and frequent villain Mark Strong. That stellar cast plus the intense music and voice-over have me excited for some excellent spy drama come this Thanksgiving. The film will be released Nov. 18, so watch the trailer when you read more.
