The Voice: What Do You Think of Usher and Shakira?

The Voice returned to NBC this week, with a couple of new butts in those red rotating chairs.

The Voice returned to NBC this week, with a couple of new butts in those red rotating chairs. Usher and Shakira are currently replacing Cee Lo Green and Christina Aguilera, giving the musical competition an interesting new twist. Usher — who already has his own signature sitting position — tried to woo contestants to his team with slick lines (and the casual Justin Bieber mention). Shakira tried to represent the ladies as best she could, gushing about her passion for various contestants and even whipping out a Southern accent to land a country singer.

Even if you prefer the old coaches, it's still fun to get some new banter combinations in there: Adam Levine teased Shakira for not being American, and pretty much everyone had to acknowledge the fact that Usher might know more about the star-making business than anyone. We'll have to wait and see how they fare as coaches, but what do you think of Usher and Shakira so far?

Do You Agree With the Winner of The Voice?

After a hard fought season, Jermaine Paul has won season two of The Voice.

After a hard fought season, Jermaine Paul has won season two of The Voice. It was a touching moment when Carson Daly called his name, and no one was more emotional than Jermaine, crying as he sang his anthem from last night, "I Believe I Can Fly," as the final performance of the season. So close was the race, in fact, that Carson noted that a mere four percentage points separated Jermaine and the first runner-up, Juliet Simms. Rounding out the finalists was Tony Lucca in third and opera singer Chris Mann in fourth place.

Whoa, is all I can say, America. Not to detract from Jermaine's win, but I'm surprised, and might be resisting the urge to puffy paint a shirt with "Juliet Was Robbed" to wear to work tomorrow. But all in all, they were all great contenders, and it was nice to see all the live finalists on stage (plus Justin Bieber) for the finale. What do you think — are you shocked that Jermaine has taken home the crown or were you rooting for him all along?

The Voice Finale: Vote on Who Deserves to Win

Four contestants battled it out this week to win America's vote, musical glory, and the title of The Voice.

Four contestants battled it out this week to win America's vote, musical glory, and the title of The Voice. Jermaine Paul, Chris Mann, Tony Lucca, and Juliet Simms have all been through the ringer for the past few months, but with the finale on the line, their talents were really put to the test as they each had to sing one final solo song, a duet with their judges, and just as a fun bonus, a song originally sung by their respective coaches. All in all, it was a low-pressure evening. Let's go through the performances and then you let us know; who do you think should win season two of The Voice?

The Voice: Vote on Who Deserves a Spot in the Finals

We're this close to final rounds on The Voice; can you feel the energy?

We're this close to final rounds on The Voice; can you feel the energy? But first, we're gonna need to cut down the contestant pool by about 50 percent. This week, the remaining eight contestants (two from each judge's team) gave what might be their final performances to battle for a spot in next week's finale. In case you're as confused as I am, the contestants will either be staying or going based on a special concoction of America's votes and the judges' secret ballots. Let's go over the performances and speculate a little, shall we?
