Like a true Hollywood star, Matt Damon is cruising around town promoting his new film, Promised Land. However, last night he stopped by The Tonight Show With Jay Leno and told the host he does the one humbling act that most stars avoid like the plague: he reads comments that random people on the Internet post about him. While most of us would shudder at the thought, Damon bravely read off three less-than-flattering comments, two of which involve his so-called "doughy" physique. The clip concludes with a jab that President Obama made about Damon's performance in The Adjustment Bureau. Ouch! We still love you, Matt.

Jennifer Lawrence's late-night talk show anecdotes are always the best, and it was no different when the Silver Linings Playbook star stopped by The Tonight Show With Jay Leno last night. While she's making her name as a serious, dramatic actress in films like that and The Hunger Games, she always shows her hilarious, silly side when making press rounds. Actually, silly is an understatement; the actress talked about how a recent car accident she was in was caused by Honey Boo Boo, and she talked about her lap dance experience at a senior citizen strip club. I'm pretty sure these kinds of things only happen to Lawrence, and I love it.

Britney Spears was on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno last night, sporting a cleavage-baring dress and her new bangs. The X Factor judge was joined by her colleague Simon Cowell for the late-night visit. Britney told Jay that a "real charming phone call" from Simon convinced her to sign on for the series, and she also admitted that she's had a hard time getting used to being booed by the audience when she's tough on contestants, saying the heckling makes her "cringe."
Tomorrow night will be the start of The X Factor's live shows, which will feature performances from the remaining finalists. The reality competition has faced some ratings challenges in its second season, with The Voice drawing a larger audience share. Despite it, Fox has announced that The X Factor will be back for a third season, and the show has also earned several People's Choice Awards nominations, including a spot in the running for this year's favorite competition show.
Earlier this week, Indiana's GOP Senate candidate Richard Mourdock had a Todd Akin moment when asked if abortions should be allowed in cases of rape. He said, "I think even when life begins in that horrible situation of rape, that is something that God intended to happen."
While Romney has stood by his endorsement of Mourdock, he did tell Anderson Cooper last night that his continued support hinges on Mourdock apologizing. He said, "If he apologizes and says he misspoke and he was wrong and he asks the people to forgive him, then obviously I'd be the first . . . in the years that I've been around, I've made a few [mistakes] and I've asked for people's understanding and forgiveness when I own up to it. It's when you don't own up to it when people will not believe you."
Obama was harsher in his response to Mourdock's controversial comments last night, telling Jay Leno, "I don't know how these guys come up with these ideas. . . . Rape is rape. It is a crime. And so, these various distinctions about rape don't make too much sense to me, don't make any sense to me." He then added, "This is exactly why you don't want a bunch of politicians, mostly male, making decisions about women's healthcare decisions." We agree!
Watch Obama talk about Mourdock's rape comments and women's healthcare rights in this Tonight Show clip below.
Aaron Paul is having a great week, thanks to Breaking Bad's season five premiere and his Emmy nomination, but Jay Leno wanted to talk about another TV show when Paul stopped by for a chat last night. Before Paul made a name for himself as a drug dealer on Breaking Bad, he was just a struggling actor bidding on furniture on The Price Is Right. Watch as Leno pulls up the footage of an incredibly animated Paul competing on the show. Paul says it best when he tells Leno, "I look like I'm on meth."

Taylor Swift brought a pop of color in a floral Tracy Reese dress to The Tonight Show yesterday. She chatted with Jay Leno about being "stupid" when it comes to love and also touched on her upcoming animated feature, Dr. Seuss's The Lorax, which hits theaters on March 2. Taylor joined costar Zac Efron at the premiere of the movie on Sunday in LA, where Zac praised her for being "absolutely wonderful." The duo got back together for press in an episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show that airs today. Zac and Taylor cleared up rumors that they are dating and pulled out their guitars for a funny duet. Zac didn't address his reported relationship with Lily Collins, though he did say that he spent Valentine's Day making dinner "with a friend." He also shared a picture of himself getting a new tattoo, his third, while wearing Ellen underwear.
It looks like Violet and Seraphina Affleck will have to wait a few months to learn their new sibling's name. While appearing on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno last night, Jennifer Garner revealed that though she looks "17 and a half months pregnant," she's not due "until the Spring." Though she and Ben Affleck have kept the baby's sex a secret, their girls are full of helpful suggestions regarding the lil one's name. She told the host that they were recently on a Disney kick, suggesting Donald Duck, Minnie Mouse, Peter Pan, and Smee for the tot's moniker — perhaps the girls are fans of Jake and the Never Land Pirates! Check out the interview in the clip below and tell me — did your older tots have any funny name suggestions for your baby?
Sandra Bullock wore a loose blue dress yesterday to sit down for a chat with Jay Leno on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno. The actress was out and about chatting up her upcoming film Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, which she promoted last week in NYC. While in the Big Apple, Sandra spoke about how she's prepping for her second Christmas with her young son Louis. She plans to spoil him with plenty of presents and even laughed with Today's Matt Lauer about getting Louis a G-V jet!
Last night, Sandra Bullock's Christmas traditions were also up for discussion. She revealed one meal that she and her German relatives just have to have even though it's technically illegal! She said, "Since my mother passed, we break the law, because we have to manage to smuggle German sausages into the country, and apparently bringing meats across the waters is against the law . . . You fry 'em up with some sauerkraut and potato salad, but they have to be the right ones."
Suck it in! New mama Christina Applegate appeared on The Tonight Show last night to talk about her highly anticipated new show Up All Night. On the way to tape the show, the actress sent out a hilariously revealing tweet that read, "On my way to the Tonight Show. Spend a little time with Jay. My spanx are so tight I feel I may faint. Good times . . ."
When Leno complimented the actress on her postbaby body, the never-shy Christina jokingly responded "Don't let all the girdles fool you! I have this thing on called a Mother Tucker. It's for mothers, and it's a tucker!" Mother Tuckers are compression tanks that smooth and shape the midsection and, like Spanx, are a must have among new Hollywood mamas. See how the new mama describes the shaping garment, how she's handling new motherhood, and what a "bed day" is in the clip above!
