When Arrow's Stephen Amell paid a trip to The Tonight Show With Jay Leno this week, he addressed his involvement in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie adaptation. The actor previously teased it via Facebook, but this time he gives some more concrete details, including the fact that he's spoken about the project with the movie studio in charge. Amell also told Jay that he's "flattered if any movie role and my name are mentioned in the same sentence."

Rebel Wilson has been busy prepping to host this weekend's MTV Movie Awards, but she found some time to stop by The Tonight Show With Jay Leno to talk about Sunday's big show. Wilson mentioned there would be some big surprises (and James Franco!), but that she's most looking forward to meeting presenter Brad Pitt. Wilson also told a story about trying to thank Nicole Kidman for paying for her acting scholarship, only to get shut down by Russell Crowe pretty hard.

NBC has confirmed what we all knew was coming: Jimmy Fallon will replace Jay Leno as host of The Tonight Show in the Spring of 2014. Leno will be passing the torch after 22 years, and while Fallon's replacement is still to be determined, it's been rumored that Saturday Night Live's Seth Meyers could take over. Though it seems like just yesterday that Fallon started his tenure as a late-night host, I'm a huge fan of the work he's done on Late Night, so I can't wait to see him in his new, well-deserved time slot — just as long as he keeps those hilarious skits and musical numbers coming.

Backstage, Vanessa and Jay posed for an Instagram photo, adding to the many social snaps Vanessa and her costars Selena Gomez, Ashley Benson, and James Franco have taken during the promotions. Spring Breakers premiered in LA last Friday, and the film is in theaters tomorrow.

However, last night he stopped by The Tonight Show With Jay Leno and told the host he does the one humbling act that most stars avoid like the plague: he reads comments that random people on the Internet post about him. While most of us would shudder at the thought, Damon bravely read off three less-than-flattering comments, two of which involve his so-called "doughy" physique. The clip concludes with a jab that President Obama made about Damon's performance in The Adjustment Bureau. Ouch! We still love you, Matt.

Jennifer Lawrence's late-night talk show anecdotes are always the best, and it was no different when the Silver Linings Playbook star stopped by The Tonight Show With Jay Leno last night. While she's making her name as a serious, dramatic actress in films like that and The Hunger Games, she always shows her hilarious, silly side when making press rounds. Actually, silly is an understatement; the actress talked about how a recent car accident she was in was caused by Honey Boo Boo, and she talked about her lap dance experience at a senior citizen strip club. I'm pretty sure these kinds of things only happen to Lawrence, and I love it.

Britney Spears was on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno last night, sporting a cleavage-baring dress and her new bangs. The X Factor judge was joined by her colleague Simon Cowell for the late-night visit. Britney told Jay that a "real charming phone call" from Simon convinced her to sign on for the series, and she also admitted that she's had a hard time getting used to being booed by the audience when she's tough on contestants, saying the heckling makes her "cringe."
Tomorrow night will be the start of The X Factor's live shows, which will feature performances from the remaining finalists. The reality competition has faced some ratings challenges in its second season, with The Voice drawing a larger audience share. Despite it, Fox has announced that The X Factor will be back for a third season, and the show has also earned several People's Choice Awards nominations, including a spot in the running for this year's favorite competition show.
Earlier this week, Indiana's GOP Senate candidate Richard Mourdock had a Todd Akin moment when asked if abortions should be allowed in cases of rape. He said, "I think even when life begins in that horrible situation of rape, that is something that God intended to happen."
While Romney has stood by his endorsement of Mourdock, he did tell Anderson Cooper last night that his continued support hinges on Mourdock apologizing. He said, "If he apologizes and says he misspoke and he was wrong and he asks the people to forgive him, then obviously I'd be the first . . . in the years that I've been around, I've made a few [mistakes] and I've asked for people's understanding and forgiveness when I own up to it. It's when you don't own up to it when people will not believe you."
Obama was harsher in his response to Mourdock's controversial comments last night, telling Jay Leno, "I don't know how these guys come up with these ideas. . . . Rape is rape. It is a crime. And so, these various distinctions about rape don't make too much sense to me, don't make any sense to me." He then added, "This is exactly why you don't want a bunch of politicians, mostly male, making decisions about women's healthcare decisions." We agree!
