Take Me Home Tonight Trailer Starring Topher Grace and Anna Faris
Take Me Home Tonight Trailer: Topher Grace Visits the '80s
by Lauren Bradshaw 5
What happened to Eric Forman after That '70s Show? We seem to get our answer with Take Me Home Tonight, an '80s-set comedy starring Topher Grace as yet another likable everyman who's wound a little tight. Grace plays Matt Franklin, a college grad working at a video store. When Matt's dream girl Tori (Teresa Palmer) invites him to a party, he lies and tells her he works for Goldman Sachs. He goes to the rager, but runs into trouble keeping up his fake persona.
We're treading very familiar ground here. The trailer hits the '80s comedy requisites, right down to Frankie Goes to Hollywood's "Relax." It looks pretty run-of-the-mill, but I'm putting my faith in the ensemble of actors. Anna Faris plays Matt's sister, and Chris Pratt and Demetri Martin also appear. Watch the preview (the film hits March 4) and share your thoughts when you read more.
