TV Tonight: The "Veronica Mars" Series Finale

TV Tonight: The "Veronica Mars" Series Finale

It's been a month of sad goodbyes over on The CW — first "Gilmore Girls" last week, now "Veronica Mars" tonight. After months of will-they-or-won't-they rumors, the CW finally confirmed last week that it wouldn't renew the spy-girl series for a fourth season. That seems a shame, given that tonight's final two episodes look so good. In them, Veronica has to investigate a very personal mystery: Who put racy footage of her and Piz on the Internet? Because a decision about the show's fate was made so late, the episodes were finished before the cast and crew knew if this would be a season or series finale; even so, I hope the episodes give us some closure for the Neptune crew. I really didn't care for the show but I know some people who will be sad to see this one go. At least it stayed on for quite awhile considering turn-over rate these days.

that sucks. i just got into vm this season when i stubmbled on it by accident when i living abroad. anyways, i hate it when they don't tell them in advance that it's a series finale and not a season, i hope they are able to wrap it up well despite the fact...

Gah, I'm in denial. It'll be interesting to see what Rob Thomas comes up with next.
I'm so sad this show is going off the air! First Buffy, Angel, Everwood and now this!

I'll miss this show too. I got into it this past summer watching seasons 1 and 2 on youtube in like two weeks. I thought Veronica Mars was for sure coming back next season! Arrgh the CW.

I am sad to see it go, I just hope that there is some epilogue/"where are they now" (a la "Can't Hardly Wait") that ties everything up and is at least halfway satisfying.

I am incredibly sadden by the network's decision to cancel Veronica Mars. It is one of the best show on the network and for them to cancel it is a mistake.

So the "season" final (Still confused why they didn't say series) was so amazing. I just wish that I could know more I want to know what happens to Veronica's dad. There are so many loose ends that need to be tied! They really really should not cancel this show it is way to amazing. It has all the qualities of a good show that "the next pussycat doll" and "America's next top model" will never have. I feel the CW has messed up royally with this one!

yeah, i loved the episodes, but i loved them as a season finale, not a series finale. I didn't like the fact, that they kept promoting it as the season finale, even though they already annoucned that the show is cancel. the commercials and promos kept saying season finales, even throughout the episode. it was like they were giving false hope - which is kinda cruel. there are way too many lose ends at the end of the episode, which totally sucks. i like series finales to have some resolution, not have everything up in the air.
