"Six Degrees" was supposed to be the new hit show of the season. It had pedigree — stars Hope Davis and Campbell Scott; executive producer J.J. "Lost" Abrams — and the plum post-"Grey's Anatomy" time slot. Instead, the show about six New Yorkers discovering their connections to each other faltered in the ratings, and ABC yanked it from the schedule in early November.
Tonight, it's back with the first of a batch of previously unaired episodes — and, potentially, a shot at another season. Dumping the show in the TV wasteland of Friday nights isn't exactly a vote of confidence, nor is the fact that "Six Degrees" wasn't among the many that ABC already promised to renew. Still, a chance to finish out the season on TV is more than many of this season's yanked shows got (I hear you, you other three "Day Break" fans).
If you want to refresh your memory of the show (or, like me, check it out for the first time), you can watch four of the six episodes at ABC's video site. For a clip that will give you a sense of what it's all about, read more

I was super amazed to see a commercial for this show during Grey's last night. I'm glad to know that I was not wrong in assuming that the show had previously bitten the dust. I'm still not going to watch the second time around. Come on. It's Friday night. There's got to be sometehing better to do...or watch...like The Soup.
1Ugh, why are they bothering with that? Didn't they drop it in November for a reason? Now it's like the ugly stepchild that they're bringing back as a pity invite. Think i'll skip it!
2I actually liked this show and was disappointed when it was pulled off the air. It was a little slow in the first few episdodes, but it was really picking up when they dropped it. I'll be watching (although not tonight because I forgot to set my DVR and I actually have plans!)
3I actually liked it as well. I was getting into the storylines and wanting to see more. Then poof....gone. I will try to watch it again and see what happens.
4I didn't love it, but I don't hate it. I can be committed enough to DVR it on Friday nights, but I won't be disappointed if it doesn't come back next year.
5I thought it was a good show, was disappointed to see it cancelled since I was starting to get into the character's storyline and all, but will probably not be watching it on Friday nights, since I don't wach TV on Friday's but will maybe start taping it if it's worth it. I'll give it a chance but they will have to win me over
6I really liked this show. Most of the characters were pretty compelling (aside from Jay Hernandez's and Erica Christiansen's characters) and all the different situations they've entangled themselves in was more than enough to keep me coming back each week last fall. I, like many others, have been exicted by its return since Variety reported it a few weeks ago, and hope it returns without too many revamps.
I love the strong push that ABC's been giving it's return as well, and the previews seem to have old TV faves Smith Jarrod, a.k.a. the closeted actor boyfriend on Brothers & Sisters, and Dan Rydell. Hopefully the ratings pick up from last fall where the show averaged in the high 7 million viewers/week range, but I don't think that's likely on Friday nights. Rather, at the very least I hope the show is able to retain the Grey's Anatomy rerun audience which averages 6 million viewers/week.
7i started watching this show last fall, cause was nothing else to watch, but i don´t think i´ll start watching it again
