As new episodes of our favorite shows return to TV [1], a handful are coming back with a little something — er, someone extra. Fox's post-Super Bowl episodes of New Girl and Brooklyn Nine-Nine have lined up a couple of big stars (like the one and only Prince!), while Kelly Clarkson [2] and Skylar Astin are bringing their vocal talents to Nashville and Glee, respectively. Brooke Shields will guest star on The Michael J. Fox Show [3] for three episodes. She'll play a single mom who meets Ian, Mike's son, at a ballroom dancing class.
Nathan Fillion on Community
Nathan Fillion will be on Community [4] as Bob Waite, "the politically savvy head custodian who's not afraid to get his hands dirty but is smart enough to wear rubber gloves." Brie Larson [5] and David Cross [6] will also appear.
Skylar Astin on Glee
Pitch Perfect's Skylar Astin will appear on Glee [7] as Jean-Baptiste, the leader of a competitive group called Throat Explosion. This will mark a reunion for Astin and his Spring Awakening costar Lea Michele [8]. Marlee Matlin will also guest-star [9] this year as a judge at Nationals.
Jamie-Lynn Sigler on Dads
Jamie-Lynn Sigler will guest star on Dads [10] as a romantic interest for Seth Green's character, Eli. Her episode is set to air Jan. 21.
Cheryl Hines on The Crazy Ones
Suburgatory's Cheryl Hines will appear on The Crazy Ones [11] as a "single Jewish mother who wants her son to have the best bar mitzvah ever."
Josh Peck on The Big Bang Theory
Josh Peck will appear on The Big Bang Theory [12] as a successful comic-book store owner.
Portia de Rossi on Sean Saves the World
Portia de Rossi is headed to Sean Saves the World [13] for three episodes. She'll play Sean's "smart, high-powered" ex-wife.
Kelly Clarkson on Nashville
Kelly Clarkson will play herself on Nashville [14]'s Jan. 15 episode. Clarkson's arc will have her recording "Fade Into You" with Scarlett (Clare Bowen) and Gunnar (Sam Palladio).
Adam Sandler on Brooklyn Nine-Nine
Andy Samberg [15]'s That's My Boy costar Adam Sandler will appear on Brooklyn Nine-Nine [16] as himself. The episode will air after the Super Bowl.
Linda Cardellini
Linda Cardellini will appear on New Girl [17] in multiple episodes as Jess's sister.
Prince on New Girl
Prince will appear on New Girl [18] as himself on the episode following the Super Bowl. The legendary singer will reportedly interfere with Nick and Jess's relationship.
Aisha Tyler on Modern Family
Aisha Tyler will appear on Modern Family [19] as Wendy, an old law school classmate of Mitchell's (Jesse Tyler Ferguson), who becomes his boss.
Jesse Eisenberg on Modern Family
Jesse Eisenberg will also appear on Modern Family [20] as Mitch and Cam's eco-obsessed neighbor. Modern Family's other guest stars this season include Nathan Lane and 30 Rock's Jane Krakowski.
