Which CW Show Is Your Favorite?

TV's Winter hiatus is nearly over, thank goodness!

TV's Winter hiatus is nearly over, thank goodness! This week the CW returns with a vengeance, airing new episodes of your beloved shows Monday through Friday. 90210 and Gossip Girl kick things off this evening (here's a peek at tonight's 90210), which means I'll be hunkered down on my couch for the good part of tonight . . . and perhaps tomorrow night . . . and okay, probably Thursday (The Vampire Diaries, I'm waiting for you!). And I know for a fact that many of you will be doing the same thing.

When it comes to guilty pleasure TV, the CW network is definitely toward the top of the heap. Between series like TVD and Supernatural, it's hard to find more loyal fans. So here's a tough question that's sure to stir up a heated debate: out of all of the CW shows, which is your favorite?

Witches and Fortune-Tellers Facing More Taxes and Fees

People will tax everything these days, from bloggers to witches.

People will tax everything these days, from bloggers to witches. Members of Romania's Senate were apparently too afraid of being cursed to pass a proposal that will require taxation on witches and fortune-tellers, reports the AP. The idea was to demand receipts from those providing these supernatural services and hold them accountable for misleading predictions. It's still not certain if the lawmakers will be brave enough to try to draft that law again.

Meanwhile, fortune-tellers in Warren, MI, are now required to pay an annual $150 fee and undergo fingerprinting and a $10 police background check. It seems like it's getting quite expensive to be a witch these days!

Would You See a Fortune-Teller to Divine Your Career Path?

A friend told me how she and a colleague saw a fortune-teller for fun the other day.

A friend told me how she and a colleague saw a fortune-teller for fun the other day. Her co-worker asked if she was going to sort out her career path because she's been confused about it, and my friend asked if she was going to score above 700 on the GMAT. It's nice to know what's ahead of you and knowing would certainly reduce work-related stress, but I'm wondering how seriously you would take an oracle's predictions.
