It was like movie preview-palooza during the Super Bowl this year with spots airing for Transformers 2, Star Trek, G.I. Joe, Angels and Demons, Monsters vs. Aliens, Land of the Lost and Pixar's Up. Did you catch them all? Which one did you like the most?
I was more impressed with the preview for G.I. Joe than I thought I would be and the spots for Up and Monsters vs. Aliens are adorable. I think my favorite, though, is the one for the Judd Apatow-produced comedy Year One starring Jack Black, Michael Cera and Paul Rudd. I loved all of these! 2009 is gonna be a great year for movies!
1I definitely can't wait for Star Trek, Up, and especially Year One! Michael Cera, Jack Black, Paul Rudd and David Cross?! Concentrating that much funny in one two minute spot is almost overwhelming!
2BTW, I was really hoping to see Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje in the ad. I guess Mr. Eko will have to wait until the movie's in theaters.
3I'm looking forward to seeing Monsters vs Aliens. I wish I had 3D glasses to watch that trailer.
4I'm really excited about Land of the Lost!!! I loved watching re-runs of that show when I was little. I'm not embarrassed to admit that I'm the most excited for the remake of Witch Mountain though...definitely one of my favorite Disney films from the 80s. LOL
5Oh, and my husband is pretty pumped up for the new Fast & the Furious!!
6i was REALLY surprised that there were so many trailers during the show, but i was thrilled to get a peek of the Star Trek movie. that one actually looks good. when i was younger, my mom and oldest brother used to make me see it ALL the time, so this is a nice thing to see, that it's one that i would volunteer to see. that and the T2 movie - which i guess aside from shia is ok
i loved the special effects that they put into it, and it makes you wonder what the
budget there was.

9so that was a preview for return to witch mountain?! i had no idea they were remaking it but i jokingly called it that when i saw it! ridiculous!
10really G I Joe is the only decent one.
