Songs of the Day: New Wilco Tracks Off Sky Blue Sky

The new Wilco album, Sky Blue Sky, isn't due until May 15, but — unsurprisingly — tracks have already started to leak on the 'Net. I've found a few over at Covert Curiosity, including "You Are My Face," which starts a bit lackluster then evolves into a surprising and lively Band-inspired jam, and a twangier-than-usual ditty called "Walken" that features some seriously gangbusters guitar.

I never like to judge albums based on a few leaked tracks, but I am intrigued by what sounds like an innovative but less experimental direction. Listen while you can (!) and let me know what you think when you read more
