Song of the Day: Justin Timberlake, "What Goes Around ... Comes Around"

It's shaping up to be a good week for the newly single Justin Timberlake. His movie, Alpha Dog, opens today, and Jive Records just dropped the latest single from his FutureSex/LoveSounds album, "What Goes Around ... Comes Around."

I know I just posted a JT song last week, but I'm really psyched that the label chose this track as the next single. It's without a doubt one of the weirder songs on the album, and one of my favorites. I just love the "that's what you get" sentiment. Check out the radio edit below.

I totally agree that song is about Justin's best friend. but I'm sure Justin can relate to it.

The song is about Elisha Cuthbert. She dated a friend of Justin's, and cheated on the friend. This wasn't written about anything that happened directly to Justin.

I have a feeling that the record company thought that they would jump on the whole Britney split and release this now in the hopes that people who liked to read into "Cry Me a River" would also do the same here. I really like the song, I have ever since the cd came out, I just can't help but think that it's suspicious that it's being released now...
