Song of the Day: Jesse Sykes & the Sweet Hereafter, "LLL"

Because of the way her name is spelled, I initially thought that Jesse Sykes of Jesse Sykes & the Sweet Hereafter was a dude. Hearing her voice — which falls somewhere between Patti Smith and goth-rocker Johnny Indovina of Human Drama — didn't help my confusion. But after several listens to this track "LLL," I'm getting addicted to the way her richly textured tones bounce off the Simon & Garfunkel guitars.
