Can I just say how pleasantly surprised I was by Blake Lively on Saturday Night Live this weekend? The Gossip Girl was game to make people laugh, but she wasn't the only glamorous guest star adding to awesome skits — musical guest Rihanna also got in on the action, singing on a digital short called "Shy Ronnie."

Supplying a hook on a hot beat, Rihanna sings until it's young Ronnie's (Andy Samberg) turn to rap. But with a handle like "Shy Ronnie," clearly, the redheaded emcee isn't exactly up to par. Or is he?

"Speak up....shy Ronnie, speak up" lol I think I've watched this at least 10 times on HULU, it's one of the top 3 digital shorts ever in my opinion.

Hilarious. I really liked it this weekend. Especially the Tiger Woods skit and this one. I usually think Blake is a bit bland and deer in the headlights (Sisterhood, GG), but she really surprised me!!

I hardly ever watch SNL but I saw that digital short as I was flipping through the channels, that was so cute and fun!

I adore SNL...It's so cool again! Me and my friends always make a point to watch it. Blake did SUCH a great job. I was totally blown away! She really gave her all and they came up with a lot of fun skits. Rihanna's digital short was the best short of the season so far! They killed it!

i'm usually not one to get all that excited about skits on SNL since it's not really my kind of humor but i thought that shy ronnie was really funny :)
