Just because Sex and the City 2 already had its big release doesn't mean that the madness is dying down. Now comes rumors of yet another SATC movie, only this would be a prequel! Yep, the basis would be The Carrie Diaries, the book about Bradshaw's life in high school before she moved to NYC. So many questions arise, but I'm most interested in who would star as our beloved fashionista. Take a look at five actresses I think could play 16-year-old Carrie Bradshaw.

emma roberts and emma watson would be the best contenders. however, looks wise, honestly none of the girls in hollywood i can think of has sjp's witch-like looks. they're all too pretty to play a believable carrie bradshaw, looks-wise.

Ugh. I just hope they don't make the book into a movie. The story in the book is so inconsistent with Carrie's story that was presented in the show.

Out of the ones in the pictures I'd say Emma Roberts, but like many of the comments I also think Emma Watson would be awesome! So I'm gonna go with Emma... (then you can choose which one) :-P

I like Emma Roberts (maybe not the best actress), but in that picture she looks like Carrie. I totally wouldn't mind Emma Watson either! If Miley Cyrus gets the part, then bye bye SATC.

I think based on appearences alone, that AnnaSophie girl (picture 4) looks the best out of all these options. I can't really think of anyone off the top of my head besides Emma Watson as well. I hear Miley Cyrus is pining for the roll. For the love of Bradshaw, please please please NO.
