Get ready for some sexual healing . . . in about 13 months. The Sex and the City sequel has a release date, and it's the same slot that the first SATC had: May 28, 2010.
Many of you voted in favor of a SATC sequel last year, and when asked about your hopes and dreams for the second movie, you had a variety of suggestions ranging from wanting to see the women at work more to seeing Samantha in a strong relationship with a man her own age. The overall consensus was definitely no more Big drama and wishing that this sequel were actually a prequel.
Well, whatever it ends up being, it's now on the calendars and coming to theaters near all of us next May. Fabulous?

Avid SATC fan, but I'm so not excited for this. Just let it go. They're kicking a dead horse now.
1Im dying to see what happens in this movie..I jsut hope its good!
2I'm kind of excited, but also worried. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what they do!
3I keep hoping this isn't going to happen but I guess it really is.
4as much as i love Sex and the City and as excited i was about the movie, i think they're just pushing it with this sequel...
5nooooooooooooo!! Producers, directors, whoever.. just please pull the plug on this movie!!
6I really liked the show but the first movie was just horrible. I finished it, but should have really stopped after 10 mins.
7Why don't they ever think of something new?
I watched the tv show but never saw the movie. I was scared it was going to ruin everything I watched.
8I dont think the movie ruined anything.
I loved it...it was funny and sad!
9i think that the movie was good - it was a natural progression on things. i just don't know what they are going to be doing about the plot for this one. as for the release date - my only fear is that people will lose interest in another year or so...that was the biggest issue with the first movie but since there was so much talk about 'will they or won't they' that it was able to work. i don't know what's going to keep the momentum going this time.
10I am still really sad to hear they are going ahead with the movie. Let a good series die.
11yes yes yes yes yes yes yes!
i agree, a second movie isn't necessary but i don't care - i love all things SATC and i'll love this too!
it's the same release date as the first movie, just 2 years later
12ugh..thats so far away. i think ilanac's right...the hype is going to die and its going to be less successful. i'm sure i'll still go see it though!
13i loved satc.i have watched every episode and i like the first movie.i think they are ruining what satc is by making another movie.
14i'm nervous about this one...
15I'm so with Tlsgirl...loved the series, watched every episode from the moment it came on until the moment it ended, but it needs to be over. Let it go.
I don't even know if I will see it...
16I'm so excited!! I hope that it will be better than the first though
17I'll probably forget about it until then & just be pleasantly surprised to see it come out!
18I am very excited about this! I dont think this franchise can do no wrong. They deal with the issues we can all relate to just on a more heightned level and if the same producers and actors are involved I have nothing but high expectations!
