I'm no Monica Geller type, secretly planning out my future wedding with tear sheets, but even I got giddy when I heard that TLC's Say Yes to the Dress is returning tonight for its fifth season.

I first started watching the show for the sole reason that it was new on a Friday night filled with repeats — and, OK, because I was staying at home instead of going out (don't judge). Now, those Kleinfeld consultants (Keasha and Randy are my faves) have sunk their little claws in and wooed me as they help demanding brides find their dream gown. I love the customers with terrible taste and their family members with brash opinions, but a very girly part of me also feels all warm and fuzzy over the personal stories and when the bride-to-be tries on "the one" and gets all teary.

I LOVE the show it doesn't matter if they are re-runs. Plus I got to meet Randy on my vacation trip to New York...6-2-2010.......he is amazing on the show and in person. I had an indian wedding, but would love to re-marry my hubby in one of kleinfelds gown with Randys help.....by the way Pninas gowns are beautiful....

Lilkimbo - I can't remember the exact brand of the dress, but I just Googled some of the Pnina gowns and that looks about right. It was definitely a see-through corset with only the cups being opaque. I cannot imagine paying that much for something that hideous!

The Pnina gowns are totally trashy! Who wants a see-thru lace corset bodice? Horrifying! But I love SYTTD too - Keasha and Randy are my favorites and I also love the alterations guru but I can't remember her name. Remember Claudia and how horrible she was and deluded in thinking that she was the best salesgirl? I was so happy when she got fired!

Tls, were they Pnina gowns by any chance? (Not that I expect you to remember, but I'm just wondering if you do!) There are actually a few of her gowns I really like, but I don't get why so many women go ga ga over the one that has a lace or tulle corset (with lining only on the cups) and a skirt that looks like shredded toilet paper. And it costs like $10,000! What is wrong with people?!?! One time a girl got the lace one and had a shawl made for church. Oh, no one will notice that we can all see your stomach, I mean, you'll have a shawl covering your shoulders; that's what really matters!

I've only watched a couple of times, but I can see why it would be a guilty pleasure. The two I've managed to catch both featured some of the trashiest gowns of all time, which were hilarious.

I love Say Yes to the Dress! I DVR the shows that are on during the day and watch them when I get home and am unwinding. It's actually gotten to the point where I knew which dress some of the women are going to pick. So, needless to say, I am glad there are going to be new episodes. Oh, and Keasha and Randy are my favorites to watch, but I think if I was going to Kleinfeld's to pick my own dress, I'd want Sarah.

i love it too! i get very emotional when they find their fperfect dress too! unfortunately, i can't keep my guilty pleasures to myself and i've told my bf i love the show, and also sometimes turn it on when he's in the room if there's nothing else on...i think he finds it weird, but whatever!! it's great, and i'm glad it's coming back on!
