I found myself very lost last night while watching this.

I'm truly disappointed with this episode. Really lame.

That Scott character is shady with how he is going about everything. Chuck and Blair role-playing is odd, will Chuck be a postman next week delivering a package? I am happy to see so much of Eric in this episode.

I hope they pick up the drama in the future episodes. But how bad does this suck: The CW in Miami isn't airing GG (or Smallville, but I don't care 'bout that)) because they're going to air a Dolphins game instead!!! They won't air GG til Saturday!!! I'm pissed about that!!! The CW NEVER plays sports games so WTF?

I would like Gossip Girl a whole lot more if they would lose Penn Badgley. Send him off to college overseas or something. He's useless.

Serena was beyond annoying last night

OMG kea718! Are you serious!?! That sucks...I love the Dolphins and all but I love my Gossip Girl more. Sundays are for football...not Mondays!

Diamond, I'm so glad I'm not the only one who was completely & utterly lost last night!!! I kept watching & thinking "did I miss like 2-3 episodes last season & not even realize it?" It was a bit of a dissapointing season premiere...Serena was super annoying, Dan was totally useless, & the whole Chuck & Blair roleplaying thing was a bit much, even for them (eventhough I LOVE them together!). Hopefully the episodes will get better as the season progresses but for now I'm just happy GG is back Next week looks funny (Dorota is back YAY!)...I'm a HUGE Dolfan but I CAN NOT believe the CW won't be playing it on Monday, WTF?!?!?! Aren't the games usually shown on CBS 4???

Rufus' son is CREEPY. him talking to his mom in the bar, holding the birth certificate?! no he's a total stalker creep.

Serena is annoying with these issues, and WHY is Carter Baizen the only person in her circle who (A) knows she's looking for her dad (B) helped her look for him. Plus, why does she think being topless in a tabloid will help? Does she think he's going to fly to NYC from Thailand or wherever to hand her a shirt (implausible), or worse think she has a nice rack and try and contact her as a result (gross)?

I hope Bree & Nate work out, I want her hair. Also +1 to Nate losing the dippy bangs

Bassdorf FOREVER. I loved everything about their development this episode, and think role playing is amazing and hot for them.

Serena's character gets more self-centered and stupid with each season. I love this show but was genuinely disappointed last night. We need to get back to Blair and Chuck scheming against other people, and away from the sappier aspects of their romance. They're good together because they're SO BAD.

ugh..S is always annoying, but i like her w/ Carter. she needs and interesting boy toy and Carter is pretty scandalous.

Yeah last night's episode was weird...it didn't feel like a season premiere at all.

Vanessa actually made me feel bad for Dan. I kind of wanted him to smack her.

I thought the ep was OK but nothing special. But it's only the first so hopefully things will pick up.

Loved wild Serena since this is the only time she get's interesting. Love her and Carter together. I really want to know what they got up to in Europe together. I hope we get flashbacks.

Yes for Eric. The actor who plays him is so good and so underused. It annoys me as he is IMO very talented.

Was it me or was it really weird to see the Humphrey's living in Serena's mum's apartment. I miss Bart Bass

You just know from this ep that Scott is going to turn out bad. The phone call he made to his mum said it all. I really hate that the producers have put him and Vanessa together. She needs a better storyline. Just like Nate does...the whole Romeo and Juliet storyline is cliched and boring.

I was SO excited when Nacho Figures was on the screen for a few seconds! I wasn't expecting a guest appearance from him, so that was fun! LOVE him

that was a terrible episode. i dont get the serena/carter thing. even though they are really hot together. the blair/chuck sh*t was beyond irritating. i think people love them too much to see how stupid monday night's episode was bwtn the two of them. i dont understand the hate with dan especially when Vanessa out of all people is still on the show. why is she there? and can someone lend her a brush to get that gunk out of her mane?

What are you guys, some old married couple trying to spice things up? Come on! I think tomorrow's episode will hopefully feel more like a real season premiere then last monday's show. I deff wanna see more of Eric.. I think he makes Jenny less annoying.. Scott or whatever Dan/Serena's half brother's name is diabolical! Can't wait for Dorota!! xoxo
