What Did You Think of Andy Samberg's Movie Awards Hosting?

In his first turn as host of the MTV Movie Awards, Andy Samberg did some rapping, played a vampire in a New Moon parody, recruited Will Ferrell for a special digital short (see it below), and had his own off-color SNL songs performed by a chorus including LeAnn Rimes and Forest Whitaker. How do you think his hosting worked out?

i thought he was so freakin funny like that whole blowing up song lik the dont look back when things are blowing up lmfao and hes really hott too. i thought he was awesome!!

I thought it was very funny compared to what the other movies award shows for MTV have been in the past - they have been very lame in my opinion. I never knew that he had written for their shows before too. No wonder he knew what to do! Good job :)

I didn't watch because I hate MTV and everything it represents (except for maybe Napoleon Dynamite), but he is pretty funny. in fact, he, in my opinion, is one of the only reasons to watch SNL (actually I don't even watch - is he still on?). the video is funny; silly but still...

Eh I was expecting more. Most of his jokes weren't funny and he seemed awkward especially during the transitions from commercials ("Look I changed my outfit!"....umm ok) and the intro could have been better.

I think he did good considering... Honestly, I just find that MTV has become awkward, like they are always trying to hard. As if they are planning out the random hilarious moments that used to happen, instead of just letting them happen, or simply trying to hard to be funny. It is all so overly scripted. I don't know....

I could not believe that they got those celebs to sing his SNL skits! That was weird. I loved the WTF award- that was funny. The Bruno/Eminem incident was very awkward- I didn't even get to see or hear who Zac was up against for best male performance it just went straight to Zac Efron- weird. I had a very strong feeling that Twilight would do well but I had no idea they would take every catagory they were up for except for Best Song (that damn Miley Cyrus!)

He was OK. I thought the whole bit with Bruno/Sasha Baron Cohen was the best part, though!

i thought that it was ok - but to be honest, there was a bit too much with the SNL stuff. i guess that's where he works and that's what he does but i never found that stuff funny to begin with so 2 hours of it was a bit excessive.
