Project Runway Begins Aug. 20 on Lifetime At its Upfront presentation today, Lifetime announced a premiere date of Thursday, Aug. 20 for the new season of Project Runway. The show will air at 10 p.m., followed at 11 p.m. by the new companion series Models of the Runway. The season was filmed earlier this year but was in limbo while its producers and NBC went to court over the show's fate.
