Project Runway Returns Tonight: What's Your Favorite Season?

Project Runway kicks off its eighth season tonight on Lifetime, and as the network sneaks in some surprises and a new 90-minute running time, I'm getting nostalgic for old seasons. It's not just because eight sounds like a lot of seasons for a reality show, it's also because tonight is the series premiere of On the Road With Austin & Santino, starring two of my favorite PR contestants ever.

Santino Rice made season two for me, with his dead-on Tim Gunn impression, but I'll always have a special place in my heart for the inaugural season, which Austin Scarlett and winner Jay McCarroll made memorable. But if I'm being honest, I think the best season for competition was season three, when Jeffrey Sebelia won. Enough about me: what season of Project Runway was your favorite?

I started watching it season 1 but the second season really got me hooked. I wanted Daniel V to win, I thought he was so talented

i loved the daniel/santino/chloe season. all three made beautiful clothes. my favorite designer was jay. i forget the season #, but he used the really cool knits and headphones in his runway show.

Season 4. Christian remains the single greatest reality show contestant ever. And any of the final 4 that season could have taken the win in other seasons.

I did love last season though, especially Seth Aaron. I was rooting for him from day 1, and I'm so glad he won!

Season 2 was my favorite, even though I was disappointed in the choice of winner (I didn't think Chloe Dao was the best at all, I'm still Team Daniel V!). There was such a crazy mix of people. Santino and Andre cracked me up that season. I've never liked a season better than that one.

I loved last season. Though the judges were extremely mean, but I thought that the person who truly deserved it won. But I loved seasons 1, 2 and 3. The only season I haven't seen is season 4. Season 6 was the worst.
