The 2 Most Obvious Suspects For Charles on Pretty Little Liars

As we inch ever closer to the Summer finale of Pretty Little Liars, we can almost smell the sweet satisfaction of learning the show's biggest secret: who the heck is "A"? And whether or not this mysterious new Charles DiLaurentis fellow himself is actually "A," we're sure we'll find out a lot more about him, too. The last few episodes of the season have and will continue to give us more information, but we're also getting a couple new suspects who could very well be our Charles. We're examining evidence from weeks past and weeks to come to guess what's really going on. Keep reading and jump to your own conclusions.

The Evidence: In a previous recent episode, titled "FrAmed," Rhys is an employee of the Carissimi Group who meets with Spencer and Hanna. He also looks SO much like Jason DiLaurentis. Not only do the girls repeatedly comment on it, but Emily mistakes a picture of him for Jason, saying, "Why do you have a picture of Jason on your phone?"

What's more, the girls spot Rhys at the very gallery event where "A" replaces Aria's work with horrifying snaps from the dollhouse.

And, that's not all! Let's not forget that Rhys appears to be handling the frames in Tanner's obtained security footage. Rhys also creepily sneaks into a doll factory later on.

Possible Conclusions:

  • Rhys might be Charles, or even "A."
  • Rhys could be "frAming" Jason, since they look so much alike.
  • Rhys might just be another red herring.

The Evidence: Well, here's the thing. Doesn't Fix — whose character hasn't been named yet — look an awful lot like Jason too? Has his character not been named in the episode's images because he's actually Charles? Unfortunately, we know nothing beyond the fact that he bears the resemblance and he's going to be at prom.

Possible Conclusions:

  • Jason Fix's character is Charles DiLaurentis.
  • His character is just meant to throw us off Charles's scent.
  • His character is totally random and has nothing to do with anything.
But here's the thing . . .

But here's the thing . . .

Remember back in March when creator I. Marlene King tweeted and told us we'd probably seen Charles's face before? So, what's the truth here? Is one of these doppelgängers Charles, or are they just meant to confuse us? And if neither one of them is Charles, who is?
