Pitch Perfect 2 came out last weekend and no doubt has already launched your love of some new favorite songs. But the original still has a special place in our hearts for its music — not only did Beca and the Barden Bellas cover songs we already loved, the movie also introduced us to some new jams in the a cappella covers and mashups. 1. "Cups" by Anna Kendrick
This breakout song from Pitch Perfect had somewhat mysterious origins when Anna Kendrick's character, Beca, uses it as her audition song. But the lyrics, its spare accompaniment (hence the cups), and Kendrick's voice combined to make it a huge hit, even spawning its own music video months after the movie came out.

2. "Price Tag" by Jessie J. featuring B.o.B
Before Jessie J. blew up, the Bellas mashed up this song for their final performance and got us addicted to it.

Beca sings this song in the shower, unknowingly auditioning for the Bellas. This electronica song had been a hit, but Beca singing it certainly got it more attention.

Obviously, we are Team Barden Bellas, but the Treblemakers are on top for most of the movie for good reason. When they perform this song — including the rap, sung by Utkarsh Ambudkar — they kill it.

Beca shows off her genius at mashing up songs when she uses this track plus Bruno Mars's "Just the Way You Are." When Beca's voice soars into the mix, it's gorgeous.
