David Fincher's much-anticipated big-screen adaptation of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo has been filming in London, and today brings our first look at Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara all done up as Mikael Blomkvist and Lisbeth Salander. Naturally, we're more excited about seeing Mara's bleached eyebrows and crazy bob haircut, which looks a little different than the W magazine cover where she posed in character. Meanwhile, Craig already looks like a sexier version of Blomkvist than I had envisioned (and I'm definitely not complaining). We have to wait until December before the first movie in the franchise hits theaters, but how do you feel about these first pictures?

no. i have the first book. i need to read them all. i started it when the movie came out so i just watched the movie. well, hopefully this movie will be more exciting then.

I couldn't put down Dragon Tattoo, it deserves all the praise it gets, but IMO the other two books are tedious and way overrated.

I am excited about the casting of Daniel Craig as Bloomkvist and I can't wait to see this version.

sugarplumfairy, did you read the book? the Swedish version was good, but if you read the book it was a bit underwhelming. personally, I am really excited that this is being remade; David Fincher is an excellent filmaker and I anticipate that it will be fantastic...

idk why they feel like they have to do another version of this movie. i watched the Swedish version and it was great. i probably wont watch this version since ive already seen it. i liked the other actress as lizbeth better too.
