First Look: Kristen Stewart and Garrett Hedlund in On the Road!

Kristen Stewart has been busy filming Breaking Dawn and contemplating a new role as Snow White, but she's got another upcoming film already under her belt. Here's your first look at Stewart alongside rising star Garett Hedlund in the upcoming big screen adaption of Jack Kerouac's iconic novel On the Road. It's just a small taste, but I'm already loving the free-spirited beatnik vibe and the costumes. (Plus, who doesn't love a dance scene?) What say you?

i havnt read the book yet so no clue what the movies about. But i do know garrett hedlund is supper hot so no matter how bad the book is im going to see the movie

uggh, I love this book and Garrett Hedlund but I am so annoyed with a movie even being made, especially with Kristen Stewart (sorry, Anon, but the "haters" are free to do what they want and I am proud to say that I hate her). why can't Hollywood just leave certain things alone?!

It's not the 60s, you idiot. The Beatniks predated the hippies by a decade (and more). Try 1947-1962 or so.

I wonder how much they've toned down the script. The book was pretty raunchy. I personally hated the book. Hated the characters. Not a movie I have much interest in seeing.

i'm so excited for this and i think that it's great that she's always taking on these roles that are different and indie. :) i hope that this movie gets the reviews that she deserves - she's had a rough time with some of her films - not because of her acting but because of the release and all that.

i can't wait for this movie, i love kristen and she looks so cute, the dance scene was filmed the day rob visited her on the set bcoz she wore this pink blouse, the f***cking haters aren't open to say anything on this page, GO TO HELL !!!!!
