I just don't really see her as Marilyn.
Why are there so many movies about Marilyn Monroe? Is it because she was associated with the Kennedy's? I'm confused.

No doubt she is an amazing actress but physically...I just don't think she fits the bill. We'll have to wait and see, but still it's such an odd thing to be doing so many Marilyn Monroe movies right now. Why can't we choose some other Hollywood icon?

I think Michelle has the chops, I think the bigger problem is who Michelle is in her real life. I think so many people see her as being the complete opposite of Marilyn Monroe that it will be hard for us as the audience to look past it. We shall see...

Very interesting choice to do that portion of Marilyn's life. She was already very famous at that point and this was a rocky time in her life. Audiences might feel as if they're coming into the story half-way. Hopefully Michelle has the acting chops to pull it off.
