Paula Abdul in Talks to Join Star Search Remake

Been missing your Paula Abdul fix in the midst of a pretty lackluster season of American Idol? Well, she may be heading to a new kind of talent show. Abdul is in negotiations to play a part in a revamped version of Star Search for ABC.

Nothing's been set in stone, but it sounds like she'll be a judge rather than a host. I'm assuming if she makes a commitment, it means we probably won't see her on Simon Cowell's The X Factor or on Dancing With the Stars. Many of you were hoping for an Abdul-Cowell reunion, but would you be on board with Paula's new Star Search remake instead?
