Number Crunching: This Week's TV Ratings

- Roses and ratings. The Bachelor's finale and post-finale specials dominated the early part of this week: On Monday, The Bachelor ended the season with its best ratings in a couple of years, drawing 15.5 million viewers. The After the Final Rose special, where most of the drama went down, was even bigger, with 17.5 million viewers. On Tuesday, After the Final Rose: Part 2 was lower but still strong, with 10.9 million viewers.
- Fear this Reaper? Tuesday's return of Reaper drew 2.4 million viewers, which isn't terrible for a CW show facing American Idol.
- Warm welcome. Viewers responded well to Jimmy Fallon's first few shows as the host of Late Night: His premiere show drew NBC's best ratings in that time slot in three years.
- Swift-ly grabbing viewers. A guest spot from Taylor Swift helped to propel CSI to 20.8 million viewers on Thursday.
- Promos work. That super-dramatic promo ("A birth! A death!") for Brothers and Sisters seems to have helped the show, which pulled in 11.9 million viewers, its best ratings since the season premiere.
