Pretty much everything Daniel Day-Lewis touches turns to Oscar gold, so his role as the 16th president in Lincoln is looking like his next award-winning turn. Rumors from the set abound that the actor stayed in character for most of the shoot, which makes me think this will be one of Day-Lewis's crowning achievements (and did I mention that Steven Spielberg is the director?). I'm ready to take in the history lesson when Lincoln opens Nov. 9.
