5 Reasons Sex and the City 2 Will Be Better Than the First

Sex and the City 2 is still over a month away, but I'm already pumped for the women's return for multiple reasons. Yes, their style is always fabulous, but after I watched the trailer a couple times (OK, 12), I feel like there are pluses to the sequel that we didn't get the first time around. So here you have it: my mostly spoiler-free (by that I mean, nothing you couldn't deduce from the trailers) reasons for why Sex and the City 2 looks better than the first movie.

This is probably going to be unpopular, but I was never into Aidan. He seemed so boring to me.

I think Aiden was a bit weird sometimes to Carrie.

Even though I loved Aidan - I always wanted Big and Carrie together. But now ... after seeing that trailer, Aidan and Carrie don't seem like such a bad idea. Post Big and his wife, of course. Hmmmm.... I didn't mind the label/love part of the first film, but there was nothing comical about the labels in the film, as opposed to in the series. Pete eating Carrie's Manolo Blahniks. Samantha losing out on her Birken to Lucy Lui. Buying fake Fendi out of the back of a car. Hilarious! Hurry up, May 27th!!

I was so mad when Carrie went back to Big at the end of the first movie. It made me depressed! Hopefully white knight Aidan will make this movie less of a bummer.

aidan was all you had to list!!! :)i cried big time when he left carrie at the altar! i've spent years rooting for them to get together, and that is what he did?!? i was pissed! the 1st movie was pretty annoying w/ the love/label crap, so hopefully they tone it down!
