New Moon DVD Releases at Midnight Friday March 19 With Parties

Are You Buying the New Moon DVD This Weekend?

You won't be seeing the New Moon DVD in my regular Tuesday feature What to Rent, because the Twilight sequel has separated itself from the pack (heh) by getting a release today (or last night at midnight if you're die-hard).

The excitement for the disc version of the vampire blockbuster has been building for a while now, especially since we got a peek at the Eclipse footage included on the DVD. Even director Chris Weitz told me why he was looking forward to it (and spilled on the scene he wishes hadn't made it into the movie).

I'm curious about how many people will be picking up the DVD this weekend — are you getting your copy of New Moon?
